From a band to Brauch Studio

We grew up with music. It was part of our everyday moments long before we ever thought about a studio, releases, or one day sharing our music with people online. It all began from a pure love of playing, exploring sound, and the feeling that comes when several instruments merge into one whole.

Over the years we learned and played about a dozen different instruments. Some stayed closer to us, others we discovered later, and each one changed the way we listen to and understand songs. We never experienced music as just something playing in the background. For us, it was always a space for expression, connection, experimentation, and creating something that can't be fully put into words.

For more than five years we had our own band. It wasn't just an occasional hobby, but a serious story with a full lineup, our own equipment, rehearsals, organization, and a crew that went through everything a band carries with it, together. We played more than a hundred shows, changed up our setlists, prepared for gigs, set up equipment, traveled, and learned how music really lives in front of an audience.

Almost every song you can find on our site today was once part of that period. We played many of them in our own rock and metal covers, often completely different from the original versions. We loved taking a well-known song, raising its energy, adding heavier drums, guitars, and our own character, while still keeping what made us fall in love with it in the first place.

When we went off to university and moved to a different city, life naturally went in different directions. Rehearsals became rarer, organizing everything got harder, and what we had built together over the years slowly faded out. The band fell apart, the gear went quiet, and the songs we'd played so many times remained preserved mostly through memories, old recordings, and ideas we never fully let go of.

Still, the love for music never disappeared.

After some time, we realized we didn't want everything we'd created over the years to remain just a part of the past. We wanted to play, record, and finish the ideas that were still following us. This time we didn't want to be limited by a place, a band lineup, or a number of shows. We wanted to create a space where music could keep on living and find its way to people, wherever they were.
